Clarissa Barton began singing before she could speak, according to her mother. After years of recording herself singing into the family cassette player, she began taking formal voice lessons. She has trained with Darien Martus, Eric Futterer, and Joan Melton.

Clarissa also took piano lessons and began writing songs as a child. At 7, she wrote her first song for the piano, "The Flower," to which she choreographed an interpretive dance for her sister and cousin to perform - true story. She has been writing songs ever since.

As a teenager, Clarissa was a choir geek by day, and the lead singer/lyricist of alternative band Orpheus by night. As a grown up, she has used her voice in various genres, performing in theater and at numerous charity and community events in Orange County and Los Angeles.

Clarissa is currently working on writing and recording new material.
