Clarissa is set to appear as Jazmin in the Chance Theater workshop production of "Hearts Like Fists" by Adam Szymkowycz. The workshop is part of the On The Radar Series at the Chance.

The performance is on May 4, and stars fellow Chance Theater Company Members and actors from recent Chance productions. Tickets are $10.

The 5th Annual Chancies Awards were held last night in Anaheim, and it was nearly a clean sweep for The Who's Tommy! The show won in every category except for Lead Actor, which went to Casey Long for his performance in Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter.

The Chancies are the Chance Theater's people's choice awards -- voted on by Chance Theater Sustaining Members, Subscribers, Company Members, and Artists.

I am so honored and grateful to have won the Chancie for Best Supporting Actress, for playing The Gypsy in The Who's Tommy. Thank you so much to everyone who voted, and congratulations to all the winners!

Chance Theater sustaining members voted for their favorites from the 2010 season, and the nominees for the 5th Annual Chancies Awards have been announced. "The Who's Tommy" has nominees in every category!

On Saturday, March 12th, The Chance Theater will hold its 5th Annual Chancies Awards Ceremony at the Anaheim Downtown Community Center. This is a special awards ceremony because each award is voted on by Chance Theater Sustaining Members, Subscribers, Company Members and Artists.

There will be food, beverage, and of course entertainment - including a performance by Clarissa!

Wow, I can't believe that "The Who's Tommy" has closed at Segerstrom Center for the Arts! It was so great to reunite with the returning cast & crew, and I had a great time getting to know the new cast & crew members.

Next up for me is the Chance Cabaret on Monday, February 28! I am very excited to work with Chance Theater company members Emily Clark, Bob Simpson, and Bill Strongin, and our guests Theresa Finamore, James May, and Matt Valle!

Next month brings two awesome shows for Clarissa! 

First, Clarissa will reprise the role of The Gypsy in the Chance Theater's Ovation Nominated production of "The Who's Tommy" at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, February 10-20.

Then, on February 28, she will take the stage at The Chance Cabaret, alongside Emily Clark, Bob Simpson, Theresa Finamore and Matt Valle.

"The Who's Tommy" is nominated for four Ovation Awards, and will receive an Ovation Honors!

LA Stage Alliance announced the 2010 Ovation Award nominees on October 18. The Who's Tommy and the Chance Theater are nominated in the following categories:

• Production of a Musical (Intimate Theater)
• Director a Musical (Intimate Theater), Oanh Nguyen
• Costume Design (Intimate Theater), Erika C. Miller
• Lighting Design (Intimate Theater), KC Wilkerson

KC Wilkerson will receive an Ovation Honors for Video Design for "The Who's Tommy," and he is also nominated for his lighting design for "Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter," also at the Chance Theater.

The 2010 Ovation Awards ceremony will take place on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

Clarissa will be co-hosting the Chance Cabaret with Emily Clark on October 10, 2010, at the Chance Theater. More information will be available soon on www.chancetheater.com.

It's official! "The Who's Tommy" will be at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in 2011!

Though the show has closed at the Chance Theater, it will return next February. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who made it possible!
